I was named after my paternal grandmother, Rhodell Graham Shaw. 

Rhodell: You are a law unto itself. Your tendency is to finish whatever you start. You are tolerant and like to help humanity. You are very active. You are generally warmhearted and gives freely of your time, energy, and sympathetic understanding. You have tolerance and acceptance of the frailties of others. Universal and humanitarian in outlook. This is a very compassionate name. You are frank, methodical and believe in law, system and order. 

You are always looking for an opportunity to achieve financial and emotional security. You are basically peacemaker. You understand the law of harmony and desire to balance your life with those around you. You may feel incomplete without someone to share your love, ideals, wealth or work. You can be very sensitive and could appear a bit shy and perceptive. You have developed intuition, patience and the ability to nurture others. You can achieve the state of happiness if you are willing to accept your needs in a complimentary relationship and go to create them. 

My grandmother was a homemaker, wife and mother to six children. When she would prepare meals, she would use fresh ingredients from the earth. Just like my grandmother, I believe in using fresh, organic ingredients in all areas of my life. Whether it's food, skin care, hair care or body products, the key to living a healthy life is to eliminate toxic ingredients whenever you can.   

I started my company by making a hair oil. I'm bi-racial (black and Korean) and I grew up using my dad's products on my curly hair. I found that traditional black hair care products were just too heavy for my hair, but other non-ethnic hair products just didn't support my hair needs. I tried everything and even started relaxing my hair (BAD IDEA!) After years of being frustrated with the quality of my hair, I started doing research on hair oils and tried different formulas on myself. I finally created a blend that my hair LOVES and I have the best hair of my life! I no longer use relaxers and have been natural for 10 years. You can have healthy, natural hair too!
